Each year, we need more volunteers to help make the Tour De Hans a success. If you, a family member or a friend would like to volunteer please contact us.

All Volunteers Receive:
Rest Stop Volunteers (15 per station, 3 stations)
There are three rest stop stations on our routes. Two volunteers will work at each rest stop and will be responsible for ensuring food and water is ready for riders. Volunteers that works this station will need to take (1) table, (2) chairs and (1) promo tent to their location. Transportation or access to a vehicle is required. Some food preparation such as cutting fruit and other items may be necessary. (9am to 2pm)
Route Marshals (40 Needed)
One of the most important jobs is that of a route marshal. As a route marshal, you ensure the safety of all riders by assisting at low traffic intersections and crossings. In addition, you will ensure all of our riders arrive at the finish line, by directing riders accordingly. Each volunteer will be provided a mandatory reflective safety vest that must be worn on the route. Traffic Marshals do not direct motorist traffic. (6am check in)
START / FINISH VOLUNTEERS
Bag Check (2-3 Needed)
Riders may require storage for their personal items during the ride. Volunteers will be required to sign-in, place a bag tag on rider’s baggage and supervise storage of these item for the duration of the ride. The corresponding bag tag is to be given to the rider, so they can redeem their items after the ride.
Parking (1-2 Needed)
Volunteers will be on site to assist venue staff with directing riders to the appropriate parking sites as they arrive. 6:30am Start, finished by 9:30am.
Rider Breakfast (1-2 Needed)
Volunteers will help set up the rider breakfast and will keep the area clean and organized until the races start. 6:30am Start, finished by 9:30am.
Rider Kit Pick Up (15 Needed)
Volunteers will be on site to help arriving riders to get their Rider Kits, including their bib and timing device. This role requires grace under pressure and big smile! (6:30am to 9:30am)
Ride Day Registration (3 Needed)
Volunteers will be on site to help riders who have not yet registered and wish to participate. This role includes processing registration forms, collecting payment and coordinating with the timing company. This role requires grace under pressure and big smile! (6:30am to 9:30am)
Results & Medals (4 Needed)
These volunteers will be on site to help coordinate retrieving and posting the ride timing results and assist with distributing the Age Category medals. (10:30am to 1:30pm)
Runners (1-2 needed)
Responsible for any miscellaneous items that may not be accounted for.
